How a project runs
From a phone call to the final walkthrough.
One team carries the project from the first call through the final walkthrough. Here is what happens, in order, and what you get at each step.
The steps
-
Call, or send the form
Tell us where the property is and what you have in mind. Our team will follow up to discuss what is realistic, what we would address first and whether the project is a fit.
-
Site visit
We walk the property with you, take measurements, check the grades and drainage, review access for machines and materials, and discuss materials and colours.
-
2D concept and quote
You get a to-scale, bird's-eye plan of the proposal — what goes where and how big it is — with a written quote. No charge. Most people change something at this point; that is what the drawing is for.
-
3D design for larger projects
For larger or multi-phase projects — roughly $80,000 and up — we recommend a photoreal 3D design and a master plan you can build in phases. It is an optional extra, priced per project.
-
The build
Our crew builds to the approved plan: full-depth excavation, base compacted in lifts, drainage first and finish last. If conditions in the ground require a change, we explain it the same day.
-
Walkthrough
The site is cleaned up and the finished work is walked through with you before we leave — including how to look after new sod, plants and joint sand in the first season.
2D or 3D
Which drawing do you need?
Both show you the project before it exists. They answer different questions.
Included with every quote
2D concept plan
A scale drawing from above: the layout, the dimensions, the areas, the materials. It answers where does everything go and how much of it is there — and it is what the crew builds from.
Right for most driveways, walkways, patios and front-yard packages.
Priced per project
3D design and master plan
A photoreal picture of the finished property from eye level, plus a plan you can build in phases. It answers what will it feel like to stand here — worth it when the project is large, has levels and structures, or will be built over more than one season.
An optional extra, priced per project.
Not sure which? Start with the free 2D concept. If the project turns out to need 3D, we say so at the site visit.
Ready for step one?
A call or the short form. We'll take it from there.
